Cricket enthusiasts from Delhi got a once in a lifetime opportunity to audition for India’s first cricket reality show, UTV Bindass Cricket Champs. Held at The Jamia Millia Stadium umpteen aspiring Delhi cricketers displayed their talent and were judged by renowned cricketers Kirti Azad, Akash Chopra and 18 other Ranji Trophy players. An unmatched initiative by UTV Bindass with Indraprastha All India Sports Foundation and powered by Kings XI Punjab, the show seeks to identify the budding cricket talent from across the country, providing an opportunity for potential young cricketers.
Cricket Champs will hold auditions in 15 cities in India beginning with Delhi and going on to Lucknow (21st Feb), Chandigarh (26th Feb) among other cities in February nd March. With renowned cricket representatives like the Kings XI Punjab Team, Kirti Aazad, Ishant Sharma, Irfan and Yusuf Pathan, and many more. The show aims to find and groom the, best cricket captains selected from the auditions and will put the participants through a set of challenges, both physical and mental and in the end find the ‘Bindass Captain’.
The top teams to get through the various stages of audition will go onto win Rs 10 lakh and Top 11 performers will get scholarship training with none other than Kings XI Punjab.
